Ambulance Driver
Location: ABU DHABI United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Description:
* Safely operate an ambulance to transport patients to medical facilities, following all traffic rules and regulations.
* Provide basic first aid and emergency medical care to patients during transport, as needed and within the scope of training.
* Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the ambulance, ensuring all medical equipment and supplies are properly stocked and functioning.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical personnel, and other emergency responders to coordinate patient care and transportation.
* Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy when interacting with patients, families, and bystanders.
* Adhere to all protocols, procedures, and guidelines established by the organization and relevant regulatory agencies.
* Complete necessary documentation and reports accurately and promptly.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in emergency medical care and ambulance operations.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
Requirements:
* Valid UAE driving license, with experience in driving emergency vehicles.
* Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and equivalent emergency medical training.
* Excellent driving record with no history of traffic violations.
* Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws and road safety practices.
* Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and in emergency situations.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry patients as required.
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Previous experience as an ambulance driver role is preferred.
* Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
