We are hiring Junior Cost Control Engineer – Construction & Contracting
Responsibilities:
• Review project budgets in coordination with PM(s) prior to joint sign-off as per set approval procedure.
• Monitor and analyze budget utilization (money and quantity).
• Review all requests/orders from sites to ensure adherence to approved budget(s), and challenge, as required, based on sound judgement.
• Monitor project change control process and flag/report on implications of changes.
• Follow-up with PM(s) on periodic Cost-to-Complete (CTC).
• Review and endorse CTCs and submit for approval as per set approval procedure.
• Support/coordinate with PM(s) to setup and maintain best practice cost control procedures at sites.
• Review and endorse progress and cost/schedule baselines and forecast prepared by contractors, and cost bases of Contractor’s change proposals/orders.
• Support in developing/reviewing cost-corrective actions and recovery plans and monitor implementation.
Qualifications: –
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: –
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a Civil Contracting company in the UAE as a Cost Control Engineer.
