PHP Core Developer
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and enhance in-house core PHP applications.
2. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
3. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PHP applications with front-end technologies, databases, and third-party services.
5. Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing PHP applications.
6. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
7. Work closely with system administrators to deploy applications and manage server configurations.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven work experience at least one year as a PHP Developer, with a focus on core PHP development.
3. Strong understanding of PHP language fundamentals and object-oriented programming concepts.
4. Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, and Zend Framework
5. Experience with database systems such as MySQL, or MongoDB.
6. Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Query.
7. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
8. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with RESTful API development.
2. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
