Asmae Egypt is in search of a dynamic “Project Manager” to take charge of the implementation, monitoring, and reporting for the “Promoting Youth Participation, Inclusion, and Protection with a Focus on Youth with Disabilities” project (YPIP). This initiative is funded by the AFD and Sawiris Foundation and forms a part of the broader program “Youth as an Agent for Change,” which is being executed in five countries where Asmae intervenes, namely Burkina Faso, Philippines, Lebanon, Madagascar, and Egypt. Phase (1) of the project commenced in January 2021, with phase (2) scheduled to begin in January 2024.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/S) or equivalent in social science, management, international development, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in development projects, particularly those funded by institutional donors, and in managing grants with local civil society organizations.
- Proven experience in gender transformative programming and promotion of inclusion.
- Strong knowledge in project management and Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Provide technical and operational support to the project’s staff and partners.
- Full awareness of protection and safeguarding programming.
- Highly preferred: Multi-sectorial knowledge.
