Urgent opening in one of the leading Engineering company in Oman.
Position – Projects Manager at HO
Job Location – Oman
Education – BE Mechanical – Post Graduate Qualifications in Business/Management (preferred)
Experience –
1. 15 years related experience and minimum 10 years’ experience with Good
knowledge of Shell or other international Oil company specifications. in Project management and control of major EPC Projects in Oil & Gas industry and Fabrication Shop
2. Proven experience in managing high value construction contracts
with at least Two EPC projects
3. Proven experience in managing maintenance contracts with Oil & Gas
companies
4. Experience in managing multiple subcontractors with high
value subcontracts.
Job summary:
1. Overall management and P&L responsibility of the business unit including optimization of resources for different projects in parallel
2. Directly contribute toward a strong HSE culture driven organization, Lead the team on HSE.
3. Preparation of annual operating budget for individual projects.
4. Achieve (and preferably exceed) annual financial budget figures for the unit.
5. Management of resources to ensure achievement of project Budgets.
6. Optimize productivity of business.
7. Contribute to the Business Development of the organization. Assist the Proposal and Business Development team as and when required for new prospects.
8. Identify and prepare financial feasibility basis for future investment and present to Senior Management.
9. Identify and implement cost saving measures within the business unit and identify areas to improve work processes and practices.
10. Contribute to Omanization targets through the hiring and development of Omani Nationals into the workforce
11. Ensure continuous Human Capital improvements through team development
12. Complete all other tasks as requested by Management.
13. Comply all local and governmental regulations
14. Proactively involve in Innovation / automation of all activities
15. Encourage and develop Team culture by promoting HSE
