Position: Purchaser Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in procuring goods and services in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Maintain and update supplier databases and purchase records.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand and meet procurement needs.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock.
Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
Resolve issues or discrepancies related to orders and deliveries.
Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and grow in the field of procurement.
