Structural Engineer Required in Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate
Design and analysis of telecom structures, including but not limited to:
• Design of practical and cost-effective steel structures according to norms and national and international standards (Europe).
• Familiarity/experience with the following codes and standards:
• Eurocode 2 / Eurocode 3 / DIN / DIN EN / ISO
• Efficiently manage multiple projects and submit deliverables on or before due date.
• Correspond with team members in a clear and professional manner.
• Implementing client and company design standards (based on planning guidelines).
• Ensure customers’ expectations are fulfilled & build confidence & trust.
• Interrogate & continually improve project processes.
• Interest in becoming familiar with a new area of expertise and a strong willingness to learn.
Competencies of the role:
The ideal candidate will have experience in and possess the following:
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD (Advanced Steel)
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD (2D)
• Excellent skills in using AutoCAD LISP Routines
• Excellent skills in using Robot structural analysis.
• Excellent skills in using IDEA StatiCa or equivalent.
• Excellent Microsoft office suite skills – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Excellent skills about steel structures (norms and standards) and how to build them according to EU3/ DIN / ISO norms.
• Excellent skills about welding of steel and detailing
• Basic skills about foundations and connections/anchors.
• Basic knowledge of civil structures of buildings.
• Ability to priorities tasks & work to tight deadlines.
• Professional, positive & organized problem-solving approach.
• Skills about foundations and connections/anchors.
• Nice to have Basic knowledge of mobile telecommunications.
Experience & Qualifications:
· Bachelor´s Degree or graduate engineer (civil, structural or mechanical)
· Professional Engineer License
· Proven experience in the telecoms industry as steel structural designer
· Good written and spoken English required
