A leading contracting company in Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas sector is seeking an experienced Electrical QC Inspector to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring the quality and safety of electrical installations in large-scale industrial projects, particularly in oil refineries. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in electrical quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct quality inspections on electrical installations across various projects.
– Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications, relevant standards, and Aramco (or equivalent) regulations.
– Collaborate closely with construction and engineering teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to electrical work.
– Prepare comprehensive quality control reports and maintain detailed documentation for each project.
– Identify potential risks, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality guidelines.
– Perform audits and inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
– Aramco approval is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical quality control, ideally within oil refineries or large industrial projects.
– Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
– Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
– Hands-on experience working on projects within the oil and gas sector or other large industrial settings.
– Familiarity with Aramco projects and standards.
– Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
